An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up for Friday, February 14, 2025!

Aside from a few left-over, light, widely-scattered showers to the West of the Coachella Valley, our skies will slowly clear this afternoon. Also, flurries over our mountains will come to an end this afternoon. After a cool Thursday, Valley highs will return to normal levels in the lower-70s this afternoon.

Today's weather-related issue will be winds, especially this afternoon. On-shore gusts will most notably be at their strongest over mountains, through the San Gorgonio Pass, and wind-prone areas of the Valley. Both a Wind Advisory and High Wind Warning have been posted through very early Saturday morning.

The weekend looks good with sunshine behind bands of fair-weather high clouds both afternoons with slightly warmer temperatures in the middle-70s.

The Valley will warm into the upper-70s come Monday. It'll be all right.
