Modernism Show in Palm Springs Highlights Iconic 20th Century Design

The Palm Springs Convention Center is currently hosting the highly anticipated Modernism Show, featuring over 130 exhibitors from around the globe, celebrating the best of vintage 20th-century designs and contemporary 21st-century art. This year’s event showcases collections of furniture, decorative arts, and fine arts that span the design movements of the 20th century, with a significant focus on mid-century modernism. Guests were given the opportunity to explore iconic pieces that reflect the bold and innovative designs of the era, from streamlined furniture to striking architectural decor. L.A. Marler, a renowned artist whose work focuses on mid-century media and technology. Her pieces, which feature analog items like typewriters, radios, televisions, and cameras, evoke nostalgia for a simpler, more stable era.
