The Coachella Valley will be under lots of sunshine this afternoon with dry air and above-normal high temperatures in the uperr-70s/lowrer-80s. Those highs warm into the lower-80s for your Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

As an frontal boundary swings quickly through the Southwest, on-shore winds will become occasionally gusty late on Wednesday... followed by Santa Ana winds early on Thursday.

As a large upper-level ridge of high pressure builds over the Southwest this weekend, Valley temps begin to heat-up. You can expect our midday number to reach the middle-80s this weekend, followed by lower-90s beginning Monday.

For reference, Palm Springs' normal mid-February high is 74°.
