College of the Desert Offers Free Sexual Wellness Services with DAP Health

College of the Desert (COD) is making student health a priority by partnering with DAP Health to offer free sexual wellness services at the Palm Desert campus every Monday. The initiative ensures students can access essential care without worrying about cost or insurance status.

The services, provided at the campus Student Health Center, include STI testing and treatment, contraceptive consultations, pregnancy tests, and HIV testing. Students from any COD campus in the Coachella Valley are eligible.

“We’ve worked hard to bring valuable community resources like DAP Health directly to our students,” COD officials said. “These pop-up clinics aim to make healthcare more accessible while reducing the stigma around sexual wellness.”

In addition to physical health services, COD also offers free mental health support through the Timely Care app, allowing students to connect with virtual care 24/7.
