NABC Donates Refurbished Vehicles to Mother in Need
Jessica, a dedicated mother in school from Orange County, is now the proud owner of a refurbished 2019 Toyota, a life-changing gift that will greatly ease her daily challenges. As a college student working hard to secure a better future for her family, this car will not only make it easier for her to transport her children but will also help her commute to college as she continues to further her education.
The National Auto Body Council (NABC) has been providing such life-changing gifts since 2007, making a positive impact on the lives of countless individuals across the nation. This Toyota donation is one of many, designed to support individuals who are working hard to achieve their goals but face obstacles due to transportation issues.
For Jessica, the car represents a fresh start, and the overwhelming emotion she felt upon receiving the gift shows just how transformative such a gesture can be. It’s not just about the vehicle—it's about the opportunities it creates for her family. "A car can definitely be life-changing," Jessica said, wiping away tears of joy as she got behind the wheel. A troubling history is coming to light in a Palm Desert husband’s death. 65-year old Vicky Kim is accused in the death of her husband — but prosecutors say she had previously faced several domestic violence cases involving him. The Riverside County District Attorney’s Office says it had secured protective orders against Kim before a judge later resolved her cases as misdemeanors, released her from custody and terminated those orders. Now, Kim is expected to be arraigned in connection with her husband’s death. Court records allege the weapon used was a flagpole.
