Coachella Valley Sees Above-Normal Temps with 90s Midweek, Cooling This Weekend

Clear skies and warm weather continue across the Coachella Valley, with above-average temperatures expected throughout the week. The region, which typically sees mid-70s this time of year, hit 87 degrees Sunday and will push into the low-to-mid 90s by Tuesday and Wednesday.

Today’s forecast includes highs of 88 degrees in Indio, 89 in Palm Desert, and 94 in Palm Springs—just shy of the 95-degree record. Tuesday and Wednesday could bring temperatures as high as 95 degrees in Rancho Mirage and Palm Desert, nearly 20 degrees above normal.

Winds remain calm, mostly under 10 mph, and humidity levels are dropping, with single-digit percentages expected midweek. By Thursday, winds may pick up slightly, but dry conditions will persist.

A shift arrives this weekend as tropical pressure approaches, bringing a cooling trend. Temperatures will dip to the upper 70s and low 80s on Saturday, falling to the low 70s by Monday.

Enjoy the warm weather now—cooler conditions are just around the corner!
