New Developments on FBI Arrest of Coachella City Official's Husband
New Developments on the arrest of Isidro Jimenez, the husband of Coachella City Councilwoman Yadira Perez. The 51-year-old was arrested by FBI agents in the parking lot of a Walmart store in Coachella on February 24th. The sudden and dramatic nature of the arrest has left the community asking questions. Jimenez was taken into custody by FBI agents working with Border Patrol, and his wife, Councilwoman Perez, was visibly distressed as she watched the event unfold.
According to federal authorities, Jimenez’s arrest was based on his criminal history, which includes multiple felony charges. Among these charges are an assault with a deadly weapon in 2023 and the illegal re-entry into the U.S. after being deported in 1995.
