An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up for Monday, March 3, 2025!

As a cold front exits the area, the chance of precipitation chances decrease throughout the day. But on-shore winds will still be an issue.

A Wind Advisory continues for the San Gorgonio Pass into the very West end of the Coachella Valley through 10p tonight. And -- because of wind blown dust -- an Air Quality Alert continues through early this afternoon for the Valley.

As cooler air filters into Southern California, Valley highs will peak in the lower-70s... that's about five-degrees below those early-March averages.

You can expect mostly sunny skies on Tuesday with near-normal highs in the middle-70s.

The next system will bring wind, rain, snow and cooler temperatures to Southern California this Thursday. We may even see a few light showers in the Valley. Stay tuned!
