Desert Mirage Boys Soccer Championship Controversy
Lastly, in high school soccer news, the Desert Mirage boys soccer team was set to host the CIF championship game against Dominguez from Compton on Saturday. However, due to wind and poor air quality, the game was postponed and moved to a neutral site at Banning High School. The reasoning behind the relocation has sparked some controversy, with Desert Mirage head coach George Chavez expressing frustration over the situation. Despite the politics surrounding the move, Chavez has kept his focus on the game and is determined not to let the external distractions affect his team’s performance. We will bring you the final results later tonight.
