Your NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up for Tuesday, March 4, 2025!
The Coachella Valley will experience a couple of quiet days before wet weather moves into our area.
We'll be under mostly sunny skies this afternoon with near-normal highs in the middle-70s. More of the same for tomorrow, but with building clouds.
An upper-level low will begin to bring precipitation over mountains and West of the Valley late on Wednesday, followed by widespread Southern California showers and possible mountain thunderstorms on Thursday.
The Coachella Valley will experience a couple of waves of light showers... early Thursday and again later that day.
The snow-level starts at around 8000-feet on Wednesday afternoon, but then plummets to around 4500-feet by Thursday morning. Idyllwild will see rain changing to flurries while The Tram picks-up around ten-inches of new snow by Friday morning.
Along with the wind, rain and snow on Thursday, Valley high temperatures will be stuck in the 60s.
There will be lingering precipitation over SoCal Friday morning followed by clearing skies. Next, sunshine returns to the Valley this weekend with highs in the upper-70s both afternoons.
