Desert Hot Springs Appoints Doria Wilms as Interim City Manager

The Desert Hot Springs City Council has appointed Doria Wilms as interim city manager following the retirement of Frank Lachino, who announced his departure yesterday.

Wilms has been with the city since 2016, serving as assistant and deputy city manager while earning multiple promotions for her leadership. A longtime local resident of 44 years, she brings extensive experience in city operations and community engagement.

Her appointment marks a transition period for Desert Hot Springs as the council looks to ensure continued stability and leadership within the city administration.
