An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Monday, March 10,2025!
Get out and enjoy today as big changes move into Southern California beginning tomorrow.
The Coachella Valley will be under sunny skies this afternoon with dry air and slightly above-normal high temperatures in the lower-80s.
Next, a Pacific closed-low will begin to move its way on-shore Tuesday pulling-up moisture resulting in widely scattered showers over the Southland. The Valley may see a few, very light showers during the day, if anything at all.
We'll be under a mix of Sun and clouds on Wednesday followed by a much better chance of rain on Thursday when a second system moves through the Southwest.
The Valley could see anywhere between a tenth-of-an-inch to four-tenth-of-an-inch of total rainfall on Thursday. Also, The Tram could pick-up near ten-inches of new snow by Friday morning.
Aside from today, Valley highs will remain below-normal for the rest of the week.
