SpaceX Crew-10 Successfully Docks with ISS
Early Sunday, SpaceX’s Crew-10 mission successfully docked with the International Space Station (ISS), bringing four astronauts aboard. The crew’s arrival was met with celebration by two NASA astronauts, Butch Wilmore and Suni Williams, who had been stranded on the station since June due to delays caused by the troubled Boeing Starliner spacecraft. The SpaceX Dragon vehicle completed its 28-hour journey from Florida to the ISS, where all 11 astronauts on board gathered for a special ceremony. For Wilmore and Williams, the docking of Crew-10 marks the start of their long-awaited return to Earth after an extended stay caused by Starliner’s failure to complete its mission. The astronauts will spend a few more days familiarizing the new arrivals with station operations before preparations for their journey home begin. The success of Crew-10’s arrival highlights the ongoing collaboration between NASA and private companies like SpaceX to maintain a steady presence in space.
