Nationwide Protests Target Tesla Over Elon Musk’s Government Influence
Protests are growing outside Tesla showrooms across the country as demonstrators voice outrage over CEO Elon Musk’s influence on the federal government. Organizers say this is just the beginning, with more demonstrations planned in the coming weeks.
At Tesla dealerships nationwide, activists are calling for a boycott, accusing Musk of dismantling the federal government. Protesters claim that his growing political influence is dangerous, and many are taking aim at his company as a way to push back. Signs reading “No Elon” and “Boycott Tesla” were seen at protests, including one outside the Cathedral City Tesla dealership.
The movement has sparked intense reactions from both sides of the political spectrum. Some Trump supporters and non-Trump supporters alike are united in their concerns over Musk’s growing power. Meanwhile, tensions have escalated in some areas, with reports of Tesla vehicles being targeted in acts of vandalism.
Despite the controversy, Tesla remains one of the world’s most valuable car manufacturers, though its stock has taken a significant hit since December. As the protests continue, organizers say they will keep up the pressure, aiming to send a strong message about corporate influence in government.

A high-speed police chase in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, came to a dramatic end when the vehicle plunged into Lake Como. Dashcam video released by police shows the pursuit before the car crashes into the water. Four people inside the vehicle were pulled from the lake with no serious injuries reported.
