2 people shot in Desert Hot Springs
Two people are in the hospital tonight after a shooting in Desert Hot Springs. officers responded to a report of gunshots heard on Avenida Alta Loma. Officers arrived on scene and found an adult male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Life saving measures were conducted and the male was transported to a local hospital where he is in critical condition. While officers were tending to the victim at Avenida Alta Loma, a second victim was found near Indian Canyon Road in a vehicle, along with several other subjects. The victim adult male, was also suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The second victim also a male was taken to a local hospital and is in serious but stable condition. Desert Hot Springs Police Department detectives arrived a short time later and took over the investigation.
