Blanca Named ‘Server of the Week’ at Cowboy Cantina, Surprised with $1,000 Award

Anthony Caridi stopped by to deliver the good news in person — and a $1,000 check to go along with it. Blanca was genuinely shocked by the surprise recognition, which couldn’t have come at a better time. “Just in time for my son’s birthday,” she said with a smile. “I’m going to spend it on my kids. That’s all they do — ask me for money!”

Joining the celebration was Dora, Cowboy Cantina’s manager, who had her own special connection to the moment. Dora was one of the very first recipients of the Server of the Week award back in 2021, when she was working at Applebee’s.

Now in a full-circle moment, she proudly praised Blanca’s hard work and dedication. “She’s a good server. She takes care of the guests, and that’s what’s important,” Dora said. “Keep up the good work!”
