An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up for Wednesday, March 26, 2025!

The upper-level high which brought us record-setting high temperatures the last two-days is being pushed aside due to an approaching frontal boundary and collapsing jet-stream.

Those Coachella Valley high temperatures will back-off from the middle-90s today, to the upper-80s tomorrow, followed by lower-80s by Friday.

This disturbance will also tighten-up those isobars and provide gusty on-shore winds during the late-afternoon/evening hours today, tomorrow and Friday.

Although those gusts will be below Wind Advisory status, they will kick-up up lots of dust and dirt. An Air Quality Alert has been posted for the Valley through Thursday.
