NBC Palm Springs partners with Sunline Transit Agency for 'Pantry to the People' Food Drive

NBC Palm Springs is partnering with Sunline Transit Agency, Eagle 106.9 and Albertsons for 'Pantry to the People' food drive. The event takes place Thursday April 3rd at the Albertsons locations in Palm Springs and Palm Desert. The event runs from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. The community is encouraged to drop off non-perishable, unexpired food items. Items collected will go to support Find Food Bank and The Center Palm Springs.

Sunline Transit Agency's spokesperson tells NBC Palm Springs, "This is one of many events we host to help those in need. We’re proud to be a strong supporter of our community."

Volunteers will be at the Albertsons store in Palm Springs at Vista Chino and Sunrise Way and in Palm Desert at the Albertsons at Deep Canyon and Highway 111 from 7am until 7pm. Donations will go to Find Food Bank and The Center Palm Springs.
