An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up for Friday, March 28, 2025!

The Coachella Valley will experience another day of gusty on-shore winds this afternoon through tonight. Because of additional elevated dust and dirt, an Air Quality Alert has been posted through this evening. Valley highs will peak in the lower-80s today under mostly sunny skies.

We'll see a few extra clouds on Saturday followed by mostly sunny skies on Sunday with midday temps around 80° both afternoons. Keep in mind, Westerly winds will still become a bit gusty late-in-the-day in those wind-prone areas both days.

A couple more waves will move through the Southwest on Tuesday and again on Thursday ensuring Valley highs remain slightly below normal. Any rain with these systems will be light and fall West of the Valley.
