An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Saturday, March 29, 2025!

Traditionally, the months of April, May and June is the windiest quarter on the Coachella Valley calendar. But this year those Westerly gusts have started a bit earlier than expected.

Although the NWS has not posted a Wind Advisory for the Valley, an Air Quality Alert will take us through (at least) the weekend. You can expect another round of elevated dust and dirt into early next week.

On-shore winds will become a bit gusty later today, followed by a stronger afternoon/evening Westerly flow on Sunday and Monday.

As far as high temperatures are concerned, the Coachella Valley will stay close to normal numbers around 80° today, tomorrow and Monday.

As a frontal boundary swings through the Southwest, our highs slip into the middle-70s for Tuesday and Wednesday, while a second wave bumps those temps closer to 70° for your Thursday and Friday.
