Over 1,000 Attend D-A-P Health Awards, Honoring Lynn Hammond
More than 1,000 supporters of D-A-P Health gathered for a glamorous awards event celebrating the organization’s impactful work. Our own Chloe Carlson was in attendance, alongside D-A-P’s Steven Henke, as they provided a glimpse of the star-studded ceremony, including a walk down the pink carpet. The event highlighted the Desert AIDS Project’s dedication to providing essential care to individuals across the Coachella Valley and beyond.
Several notable Coachella Valley figures joined in the celebration, showing their support for D-A-P’s mission. One of the evening’s highlights was the recognition of philanthropist Lynn Hammond, who was honored for her outstanding contributions to the community. The event not only celebrated the organization's efforts but also brought together a community dedicated to making a difference in the fight against HIV/AIDS and providing critical healthcare services.

Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery are one step closer to completing their $110 billion merger after a coalition of 12 state attorneys general reached a settlement with Paramount. A high-speed police chase in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, came to a dramatic end when the vehicle plunged into Lake Como. Dashcam video released by police shows the pursuit before the car crashes into the water. Four people inside the vehicle were pulled from the lake with no serious injuries reported.
