An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up for Tuesday, April 1, 2025!

Once again, much of Southern California -- including the Coachella Valley -- will experience strong, gusty on-shore winds this afternoon and evening. A Wind Advisory and Air Quality Alert for the Valley continue through Wednesday morning.

The frontal boundary will not only kick-up the winds today, but will play a role in cooling our temperatures. Valley highs will peak in the middle-70s today, lower-to-middle-70s tomorrow, followed by lower-70s by Thursday.

Next, a slow warm-up will begin. You can expect upper-70s on Thursday, middle-80s on Saturday, then lower-90s by Sunday... all under clear skies with drier air.

I consulted my meteorological crystal ball and we just may see triple-digits in the Valley by Thursday, April 10th. Consider yourself warned.
