The Agua Caliente Entertainment Report, brought to you by Agua Caliente Casinos, has some exciting updates for gamers and film fans alike!

Nintendo officially announced the Nintendo Switch 2, launching June 5. The base console will retail for $450, or $500 bundled with the brand-new Mario Kart World. Nintendo also revealed a new Donkey Kong game and upgraded editions of fan-favorite titles from the original Switch. Pre-orders go live April 9 at select retailers, so mark your calendars, gamers.

In Hollywood, Mark Hamill was honored at CinemaCon with the prestigious Cinema Icon Award. Known to millions as Luke Skywalker, Hamill has a busy year ahead with three films: The Long Walk, The Life of Chuck, and The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants.

Also at CinemaCon, The Weeknd premiered the trailer for his upcoming film Hurry Up Tomorrow, co-starring Jenna Ortega and Barry Keoghan. The genre-bending drama opens May 16.

Meanwhile, singer Dove Cameron is blending entertainment with purpose. She’s headlining a live stream concert Thursday at 5 p.m. PT across YouTube and Instagram, with proceeds benefiting the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
