Military Families Celebrate at Sunnylands for Family Day in Honor of Month of the Military Child

Dozens of military families came together at Sunnylands Center and Gardens in Rancho Mirage for a special Family Day event in honor of the Month of the Military Child. The celebration, co-hosted by Blue Star Families, the nation's largest support organization for military families, offered a fun-filled day of activities designed to strengthen connections within military communities. Families had the opportunity to enjoy quality time together in a beautiful setting, surrounded by the stunning views of the desert mountains. For many military families, this event was an opportunity to create joyful memories with their children and spouses, as one parent shared, “It’s great being together and just spending time.” With such events, military families are reminded that their sacrifices do not go unnoticed, and their community stands behind them. The day’s activities allowed these families to relax, connect, and create lasting bonds—an important gesture of gratitude for their continued service.
