Flair Airlines and WestJet Reduce Seasonal Flights from Palm Springs to Canadian Cities
Flair Airlines and WestJet have both announced reductions in their seasonal flights connecting Palm Springs with two major Canadian cities: Vancouver and Winnipeg. In statements released by both airlines, they cited changes in the operating environment and fluctuations in demand as the primary reasons for the adjustments. The revised schedules are now available for travelers to view on the respective airline websites. Despite these reductions, Palm Springs International Airport (PSP) reassured Canadian visitors that the airport will continue to be a popular destination for those traveling from Canada. The airport is actively working with its airline partners to maintain and support Canadian air service. Although some flights between Palm Springs and Canada will be reduced, options for travelers remain plentiful. For those planning trips, the updated flight schedules can be found directly on the airlines' websites, giving passengers the information needed to plan their trips accordingly.

Palm Springs firefighters responded Thursday to a report of a person struck by lightning in the Chino Canyon area. The person was transported to a hospital for medical treatment. Firefighters also responded to a palm tree fire in Chino Canyon that officials say was caused by an apparent lightning strike. Estevan Figueroa of King’s Club Barbershop is giving back across the Coachella Valley — one haircut at a time.
