Hundreds Protest Trump Policies in Desert
A local alert unfolded in Palm Springs as demonstrators rallied in front of City Hall on Saturday. The event was organized by Indivisible Movement and Courageous Resistance of the Desert. Protesters gathered to speak out against the Trump administration's proposed spending cuts and mass layoffs. Over a thousand people showed up in solidarity. Participants voiced concern about threats to public services and democratic values. Many carried signs that read "Fire Trump" and "Save Our Democracy." The protest was peaceful but passionate. It was one of many rallies taking place across Southern California. These protests are part of a broader national movement. Organizers say their goal is to protect vulnerable communities. Demonstrators emphasized the importance of civic engagement. They also urged others to vote and speak out.

Hundreds gathered outside the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., for the “Hands Around the Kennedy Center” rally, protesting President Donald Trump’s handling of the performing arts center. The demonstration came after the Kennedy Center board voted to close the facility for repairs and amid an ongoing dispute over the center’s future.
