Palm Desert Library Partners with NBC Palm Springs for Monthly Book Talks

NBC Palm Springs teams up with the Palm Desert Library to launch a new monthly segment featuring "Gary the Librarian" who will pick a book of the month. The collaboration aims to encourage reading and increase community engagement with the library, which recently underwent a modern makeover under city leadership. As plans for a brand-new facility develop, the library’s current space near College of the Desert has been refreshed to create a welcoming, bookstore-like environment. Viewers can expect a mix of new and classic book recommendations each month to inspire more reading and visits to the library.
