Your SoCal Weather Briefing for Saturday, April 12, 2025!
Today the Coachella Valley will be under mostly cloudy skies through the afternoon hours with temperatures which will still be running about 15-degrees above normal in the upper-90s/lower-100s. On-shore will winds will pick-up a bit around sunset.
Mostly sunny skies with continued very dry air is expected on Sunday when those midday temps climb into the upper-90s.
We'll see morning sunshine followed by a few evening clouds on Monday as temperatures warm into the middle-90s that afternoon.
Looking to the future, there are a couple of weather computer models which suggest a buckling jet will deposit a large upper-level low over the Southwest on Friday. If this scenario happens, there will be scattered showers over Southern California between late-Friday into early-Sunday.
Although measurable precipitation is not expected in the Coachella Valley, there will be noticeably cooler high temperatures. We'll definitely experience midday temps in the 90s this weekend, with the chance those highs drop to the 70s by the next. Stay tuned!
