Desert Recreation District Hiring Lifeguards for Summer Pool Season Across the Coachella Valley

Although spring break is just around the corner, the Desert Recreation District is already diving into summer plans. The district has officially launched its hiring campaign for lifeguards to staff pools throughout the Coachella Valley.

Positions are available in Cathedral City, Indio, Mecca, La Quinta, and Coachella. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and meet the necessary lifeguard training and certification requirements.

These seasonal roles offer local teens and young adults an opportunity to earn income, gain valuable experience, and serve the community by helping ensure pool safety during the busy summer months.
