Firebirds Prepare for Playoffs as Season Finale Hits Acrisure Arena
The Coachella Valley Firebirds are soaring into the postseason for the third consecutive year—and the Valley is fired up.
With just two games left in the regular season, the Firebirds are on the verge of clinching home ice for the first round of the playoffs. They need just one more point to lock it in. That point could come with a win, an overtime appearance in their final matchups, or even a regulation or OT win by San Jose tomorrow afternoon in Calgary.
To get fans ready, the Firebirds held their first postseason pop-up event at an aptly named location: Playoffs, the sports bar in Desert Hot Springs.
And now all eyes are on the regular season finale set for tomorrow night inside Acrisure Arena. It’s not just another game—it’s Fan Appreciation Night.
Attendees will receive rally towels and a team poster at the gates, with plenty of prizes handed out throughout the evening. One lucky season ticket holder will walk away with the jersey off a Firebird’s back—literally—during the postgame raffle ceremony.
For those who can’t attend, the appreciation event will also be broadcast on MyFirebirdsTV on KPSE.
It’s a night to celebrate the team—and the fans—who’ve helped make the Firebirds one of the most electrifying teams in the American Hockey League.
Playoff hockey is nearly here, and the desert is ready.
