From Coachella Workouts to Motherhood: Erica Hood Returns with Double the Joy
As Coachella’s second weekend kicks off, one familiar face is back among the campers—bringing energy, inspiration, and a new chapter in her life.
Erica Hood, founder of Hood Fit, is once again leading group fitness classes for Coachella campers. But this year, the experience is extra meaningful. Just one year ago, Erica and her husband Jordan Hood made a surprise announcement during the second weekend of the festival—they were expecting twins.
“I had just found out I was pregnant right before coming out to work the festival,” Erica shared. “After weekend one, I wasn’t feeling great, so we went in for an ultrasound… and found out it was twins!”
The couple, longtime Coachella attendees, decided to share their joyous news with the crowd during that unforgettable weekend.
Now, Erica returns not only as a fitness coach but also as a mother, juggling her passion for wellness with the challenges and joys of raising two little ones.
“It was the most surreal thing,” she recalled. “Jordan was so excited, and I swear the babies were already dancing in the womb. We had just wrapped weekend one.”
This year, the workouts continue, but Erica carries with her the strength of motherhood and the support of a community that watched her story unfold.
From high-energy training to heartfelt life moments, Erica’s journey proves that Coachella is more than just music—it’s a place where passion, purpose, and even parenthood come together.
