Palm Springs Animal Shelter Holds Big Dog Bonanza Next Week

The Palm Springs Animal Shelter is fully at capacity for large dogs and is asking the community for help.

April 25th through the 27th, the shelter will be completely waiving adoption fees for large dogs as part of their "Big Dog Bonanza."

Not only will adoption fees be waived, but 6 months of free pet food will be provided courtesy of Lucy Pet Food, as well as free vaccinations for a year.

NBC Palm Springs will be live from the shelter this afternoon to talk more about the over-capacity issue and things the community can do to help out.
