Seattle Kraken fire Dan Bylsma after one season behind the bench

The Seattle Kraken have decided to relieve Dan Bylsma of his coaching duties. Bylsma coached the Coachella Valley Firebirds to back-to-back Calder Cup Finals in the first two seasons of Firebirds hockey in 2022-2023 and 2023-2024. Former Firebirds assistant coach Jessica Campbell joined Bylsma in Seattle last season. The organization announced Monday afternoon that she will be retained with one year left on her contract.
