Disney World Announces Free Dining Plans for Kids in 2026

Disney World is rolling out a new perk for families planning trips in 2026—free dining plans for kids.

Starting next year, children ages 3 to 9 will be eligible for complimentary dining plans when adults in the group purchase their own. For kids under age 3, they can still dine for free by sharing from their parent’s or guardian’s plate.

The offer is exclusive to guests staying at one of Disney’s Resort Collection hotels, which includes a range of themed accommodations across the Disney World property. This initiative is part of Disney’s ongoing effort to add value to on-property stays while simplifying vacation planning for families.

The announcement comes just before Disney opens up bookings for most 2026 Disney World vacations. Reservations will be available beginning Tuesday.

The free dining plan perk is expected to be a popular incentive as families look ahead to planning their magical getaways at the happiest place on earth.
