April 23rd Is Picnic Perfect: National Picnic Day, English Muffins, and a Pop Quiz on Chance

First up: National Picnic Day. It’s the perfect time to grab your lunch, head outside, and enjoy the beautiful weather. A picnic and maybe a guitar—what more do you need?

Next on the holiday menu: National English Muffin Day. Did you know that in the UK, they just call them muffins? English muffins date back to Wales in 900 A.D. Whether you like them with butter, jam, or honey, they're a breakfast classic.

And if you're feeling adventurous, it's also National Take a Chance Day—a reminder to break out of your routine and try something new.

To top it all off, we had a “chance”-themed pop quiz. The first question: What number is on Chance the Rapper’s signature cap? If you guessed 3, you’re right! It represents his breakthrough third mixtape, "Coloring Book."

The second trivia question took us back to 1979. In the satirical film Being There, Peter Sellers plays a simple gardener named Chance who, through a series of misunderstandings, becomes a presidential advisor. The answer was A: Being There.
