Award-Winning Musical Comedy "The Funny Thing About Men" Debuts in the Coachella Valley

The Coachella Valley is in for a comedic treat this weekend as Mandy Williams makes her local debut with The Funny Thing About Men, an original musical comedy at the Revolution Stage Company. The one-woman show takes a humorous look at the everyday quirks of relationships, inspired by Williams’ own experiences.

Williams, who originally hails from England, has spent years crafting this performance. The show features entirely original music, some of which she performs on the ukulele, and shines a spotlight on the small, often-overlooked moments between couples. After successful runs at the Hollywood Fringe Festival and the Edmonton Fringe in Canada, where it won awards and acclaim, The Funny Thing About Men is set to charm local audiences with its witty lyrics and heartfelt storytelling.

Though she’s now based in Los Angeles, Williams brings decades of performance experience, including a career that started at Disney and Universal Studios in Orlando. Her creative journey through live theater and band performances led her back to the stage with this deeply personal, universally relatable show.

Williams hopes to eventually take The Funny Thing About Men to larger festivals like Edinburgh, but for now, she’s thrilled to share it with the Coachella Valley.
