An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up for Friday April 25, 2025!

As an upper-level low moves through the Southwest, temperatures will back-off while winds strengthen.

The Coachella Valley will be under clear skies this afternoon with slightly below-normal high temperatures in the lower-to-middle 80s.

This disturbance will pull-down our midday highs into the 70s for both Saturday and Sunday.

As far as those on-shore winds are concerned, they will be at their strongest during the late-afternoon/evening hours today and tomorrow. A Wind Advisory has been posted for the very West end of the Coachella Valley into the San Gorgonio Pass through Saturday night.

Also, an Air Quality Alert will most likely be extended into Saturday evening as well.

The Valley will warm into the 80s on Monday, 90s starting Tuesday.
