Clown Union Spreads Joy at Festival
The Coachella Valley Clown Union is bringing smiles once again.
This Sunday, they’re helping host the “Children’s Day” Festival at Rancho Las Flores.
Local businesses and organizations have chipped in with donations to support the cause.
For the second consecutive year, the clowns have rallied the community for the event.
Their goal: create a joyful, free experience for children and families.
Organizers promise an afternoon packed with laughter and interactive fun.
There will be live entertainment, games, and hands-on activities.
Everything is designed with the kids in mind—safe, colorful, and engaging.
The event will run from 2 to 7 p.m.
Rancho Las Flores will serve as the perfect backdrop for the celebration.
The Clown Union hopes even more families turn out this year.
They say joy is better when shared—and this Sunday, everyone’s invited.

Palm Springs is mourning the loss of beloved entertainer James “Gypsy” Haake, who has died at 94. Haake began his entertainment career at just 19 years old as a Broadway chorus dancer. After retiring from the stage, he returned to performing at 82, becoming the host of Carnival Cabaret at Oscars in downtown Palm Springs. A longtime friend of our station, Haake was a familiar and beloved figure in the Palm Springs entertainment community — and his contributions were recognized with a star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars.
