First up, Netflix debuts The Four Seasons on May 1. The series is co-created, co-run, written, and co-starred by Tina Fey, who plays one of four friends navigating love, work, and life changes across the seasons. With a blend of heart and humor, the show explores friendship through a unique ensemble cast.
On PBS and the PBS app, Lucky Chow returns for its seventh season, also launching May 1. This season follows host Danielle Chang through Taiwan, highlighting the region’s culinary traditions, local ingredients, and the stories of people keeping food culture alive. New episodes premiere weekly.
And for fans of the undead, The Walking Dead: Dead City returns May 4 on AMC and AMC+. Season two reunites Negan and Maggie as they continue their tense alliance in a zombie-overrun Manhattan, where new threats emerge in a lawless landscape.
Whether you're in the mood for laughs, food, or frights, this week’s releases have it covered.
