Shoe Giants Urge Trump Tariff Relief

America’s top shoe brands are sounding the alarm over upcoming tariffs.
They’ve asked President Trump to step in and offer relief.
The Footwear Distributors and Retailers of America sent a letter to the White House this week.
It was signed by 76 major companies, including Nike, Adidas, Skechers, and Under Armour.
These brands say the tariffs will hurt their industry.
Some imported shoes from China could face rates as high as 145%.
Companies warn that these costs may be passed on to customers.
Retailers say higher prices are just the beginning.
They’re also worried about store shelves running empty.
The tariffs are expected to resume in July.
Industry leaders are urging the administration to act now.
They say without action, a crisis is imminent.
