Your SoCal Weather Briefing for Monday, May 5, 2025!
There will be scattered precipitation over Southern California today, all moving their way from the North to the South. A few brief, very light showers are a possibility for the Coachella Valley this afternoon.
We'll be under bands of clouds with below-normal high temperatures in the lower-80s and strong breezes.
Skies will begin to clear-out on Tuesday with slightly warmer midday temperatures in the middle-80s. That will be followed by sunny skies and normal numbers in the upper-80s/lower-90s on Wednesday. Then, the big warm-up begins.
As an upper-level ridge of high pressure expands over the Southwest, those Valley highs will move into the triples for this weekend. Palm Springs will peak at 104° on Friday, 107° for Saturday, 102° for your Sunday.
Next, the Valley will back-off into the 90s by Monday.
