Desert X Art Club Launches 2025 Student Exhibit at Melissa Morgan Fine Art
A vibrant celebration of student creativity is now on display in Palm Desert. The Desert X Art Club officially opened its 2025 student art exhibit today at Melissa Morgan Fine Art, spotlighting the artistic talents of local youth from the Desert Sands Unified School District.
The exhibit features work from students who participated in this year’s After School Expanded Learning Opportunities program, a district-wide initiative that supports artistic development outside the classroom.
Visitors to the gallery can expect to see a diverse range of work across multiple mediums, including painting, sculpture, and photography. The exhibit is free and open to the public and runs through May 21.
Organizers say the showcase is an opportunity not only to highlight the next generation of artists but also to bring the community together through the power of visual storytelling.
A grand opening event takes place today at the gallery, located in the heart of Palm Desert’s art district. Community members, parents, and art lovers are invited to stop by, explore the exhibit, and support the work of young, emerging artists from across the Coachella Valley.
