Meet This High Energy Little Guy Named Axel

It's time for Pet of the Week, and this time, Dan Rossi from the Palm Springs Animal Shelter introduced us to the fun little man named Axel.

Axel is a two month old mixed-breed little guy with a ton of energy.

He was real active during our segment and would fit right at home with an active owner and family.

Dan also talked an issue facing the shelter.

Over the past few weeks, the shelter has taken in a large amount of large dogs, and now they are completely out of space.

To help, the shelter and the Coachella Valley Chamber of Commerce is hosting the "Big Paws & Big Hearts" adoption event at the Camber office.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. large dog adoption fees will be completely waived, and on top of that, one year of free vaccinations for your pet as well as six months of free dog food will be provided by Lucy Pet Food.
