Coroner Confirms Jeffrey Sperbeck’s Death Accidental After Golf Cart Incident at Stagecoach Party

There are new developments tonight in the death of longtime sports agent and business partner of NFL Hall of Famer John Elway. The Riverside County Coroner has confirmed that Jeffrey Sperbeck died accidentally after falling from a golf cart at a private Stagecoach after-party held at the Madison Club in La Quinta.

According to authorities, Sperbeck suffered blunt head trauma during the incident and was transported to Desert Regional Medical Center, where he passed away two days later. Officials say Elway was driving the cart at the time but was neither arrested nor charged in connection with the accident.

Sperbeck and Elway had been close friends since 1990 and recently entered a business venture together in the wine industry.

The Madison Club, an exclusive community known for high-profile residents and celebrity visitors, was the site of the incident, which occurred shortly after the Stagecoach Festival.

The coroner’s confirmation that the death was accidental closes the official investigation, though the tragedy continues to be felt throughout the sports and business communities.
