An NBC Palm Springs Weather Heads-Up on Saturday, May 10, 2025!

Yesterday, Palm Springs peaked at 107°... that's 15-degrees above the city's mid-May seasonal averages. And, the Coachella Valley will be back in that same heat again later today.

Once again, an upper-level ridge of high pressure positioned over the Southwest will push Valley temperatures anywhere between 107° and 111° this afternoon under total sunshine. Middle-of-the-day relative humidity will bottom-out in the single-digits.

Valley highs will again find their way into the triple-digits on Sunday with dry air but with a few bands of mid-and-high clouds.

As a disturbance approaches Southern California, temperatures will slowly back-off while afternoon/evening on-shore winds pick-up. The Valley's windiest day will be Monday, while our coolest afternoon will be Tuesday with highs in the upper-70s/lower-80s.
