Coffey Lobby Unveiled at Richards Center Friday

On Friday, the Coffey Lobby was officially unveiled at the Richards Center for the Arts. The celebration marked a meaningful moment for the Palm Springs High School community. Thanks to a generous donation from PSHS alum Nancy Coffey, the lobby now bears the family’s name. The Coffey family has shared a deep connection with the school and community for decades. Their legacy is now permanently honored at the performing arts center. The unveiling event was hosted by the Foundation for PSUSD. Alumni, community members, and district leaders were in attendance. Superintendent Dr. Mike Swize Signoret also took part in the celebration. Guests shared stories and memories tied to the Coffey name. It was a heartfelt tribute to a family committed to education. The space now stands as a symbol of giving back. The event also highlighted the power of alumni support in public schools.
