Disneyland Resort Kicks Off 70th Anniversary Celebration With New Shows and Surprises

Disneyland Resort is kicking off its highly anticipated 70th anniversary celebration, and NBC Palm Springs is there to bring you all the magic.

Tiani Jadalang reported live from Disneyland Park where the brand-new Celebrate Happy Cavalcade parade made its grand debut today along Main Street. Fans gathered to watch as beloved Disney characters officially launched the anniversary festivities.

Leading the way was Goofy, followed by fan-favorite princesses Snow White and Jasmine. As Jadalang shared, her personal highlight came when Mickey and Minnie Mouse followed closely behind, waving to cheering crowds.

“This parade is debuting for the very first time here on Main Street, and fans are loving it,” Jadalang reported. “It’s the perfect way to kick off all things Disney for the 70th anniversary.”

Disney enthusiasts and families packed the park for a first glimpse of the new entertainment lineup. The parade sets the stage for the official anniversary celebration tomorrow, with additional surprises and special experiences expected throughout the week.
