Wine Tasting Event in Palm Springs
A special wine tasting mingle was held tonight at Hyphen Wine Shop and Lounge in Uptown Palm Springs. The event, co-hosted by GED Magazine and The Center Palm Springs, offered guests a sneak preview of what’s to come at the third annual Equality Wine and Food Festival, happening June 7 at the Hyatt Hotel in Palm Springs.

The festival celebrates the contributions of LGBTQ women and minorities in the wine and beverage industry and supports local charities. NBC Palm Springs is proud to sponsor this year’s event.

HBO Max Rebranding Again
In entertainment streaming news, Warner Brothers’ streaming service is changing its name—again. Originally launched as HBO, then renamed HBO Max, and most recently shortened to just Max, the service is now returning to HBO Max this summer.

The studio says the decision reflects a renewed focus on “quality over quantity.” The last major rebrand occurred in 2023 when content from Discovery Plus was integrated into the platform. Subscribers can expect slight updates to the Max app once the change takes effect.
