Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross Announce ‘Future Ruins’ Festival; Live Nation Unveils $30 Summer Concert Deal
In entertainment news, a new festival is coming that’s sure to thrill fans of film and television scores. Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, of Nine Inch Nails and acclaimed scoring fame, have announced a brand-new event called Future Ruins—a live concert festival featuring top modern composers performing their iconic works.
The lineup includes Danny Elfman, best known for his work with director Tim Burton, and horror legends like Goblin, the Italian band behind the original Dawn of the Dead soundtrack. Also set to appear is John Carpenter, who will bring his unforgettable Halloween theme music to the stage.
Future Ruins will take place November 8 at the LA Equestrian Center and promises an immersive experience for fans of cinematic music, horror scores, and ambient storytelling.
Meanwhile, Live Nation is kicking off its $30 Ticket to Summer promotion. Starting May 21, fans can purchase $30 all-in tickets to over 1,000 concerts nationwide.
Participating artists include Avril Lavigne, Nelly, Rod Stewart, and Kesha, offering something for every musical taste. Live Nation says even more shows will be added as the summer progresses, so fans are encouraged to check back frequently at livenation.com.
