Ramon Cardenas Prepares for Undisputed Showdown
Ramon Cardenas is gearing up for the fight of his life, set to face one of boxing’s biggest names, Naoya Inoue. The San Antonio-born, Indio-trained boxer will battle Inoue in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 4th, during the highly anticipated Cinco de Mayo weekend. This fight will determine the undisputed champion at the 122-pound limit, with all the belts on the line. Cardenas enters the ring with a chance to make history, and a chance to cause what people would call the 'Upset of the Year'..
A victory for Cardenas would solidify his place in boxing history as the second undisputed champion trained at the Diaz Brothers Boxing Academy, following Dimitri Bivol, who claimed the undisputed light heavyweight title earlier this year. Cardenas has shown incredible promise, and this fight represents the culmination of years of hard work and dedication. With the world renowned Diaz Brothers behind him, Cardenas is fully prepared for the challenge Inoue presents.
The excitement surrounding the fight continues to build, with Cardenas and Inoue set to put on a show in what promises to be a historic bout. Fans eagerly await this high-stakes contest, knowing that it will not only determine the undisputed champion, but also provide a defining moment in Cardenas’s career. As he steps into the ring, Cardenas’s determination and skill will be tested against one of the sport’s top fighters.
